It was a fantastic trip to Ireland with Sensei Dave Farrance and I to visit Limerick University for the JKA Course. We worked on Heian Shodan and the application of tai sabaki using gravity to assist movement. Sensei Naka has a very relaxed way of instructing explaining in detail what he needs to see. And when he is happy that all have grasped the concept we heard “five more times-enjoy”
